We all have our own colour palette preference and interestingly, while often we are unconsciously drawn to it, when we pay a bit more attention, we discover that we tend to bring these colours into our life in many ways – through our wardrobe and accessories, through home décor, the artwork, down to colours of our cars.

Interestingly this preference stretches way beyond colours and translates into a personality, literary tastes, personal demeanour and the world outlook.

So our colour palette preference says something about our personality and our way of experiencing the world.

I would love to learn more, but for now, I am happy to reflect that my love of muted, soft, weather beaten tones, hazy, blurred and soft, with play on every natural shade and magic of natural light has something to do with who I am as a person or quite possibly the other way round or it’s inexplicably linked!

Do you think your colour preferences are connected to how you experience the world or your character?
